Properly engineered and installed security systems deter crime, monitor scenes and
activities, gather evidence, and generate records.
These systems are used for the purpose of viewing, recording and capturing areas of interest. Products available for CCTV systems include: monitors, cameras and video recorders communicating through coaxial cable lines, ethernet connections, and/or wireless links.
In 1942, the first CCTV that was installed was by Siemens AG at Test Stand VII in Peenemunde, Germany. The design and installation of the system was created by the German engineer Walter Bruch. It was not until 1949, when this technology was introduced promptly into America for commercial basis with a company named Vericon. Major developments arose when the Video Cassette Recorder (VCR) came out within the late 1970’s. This made it possible for video surveillance and new explorations by the camera to be incorporated. Using the VCR, the tapes would need to be changed or rewritten on a regular basis due to storage capacity available. Late 1990’s, multiplexing had developed and that allowed multiple cameras to record during the same time; also, introduced time lapse, and motion only recording. When the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) released this replaced the VCR with more improvement making CCTV systems simpler and had multiplexers built into them and ready to install. Now by the 21st century, we can invest in a Network Video Recorder (NVR), allowing the system to cryptograph and process video of the camera onto footage for storage or viewing. You can oversee many cameras installed at a location along a network at anytime. This increased the use of CCTV’S majorly across the country and saved people money and time.
Today we use CCTV systems within: Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Government, Military, Airports, Banks and more.. All Tech Fire and Security, Inc. has a trained team of workers who are willing to assist constructing security systems that will give owners more management, protection and insight to your investment. A combination that will fit the overall purpose by design, installment, testing, and servicing.
